'Are you getting irritated with the pimples growing in your face? Why don't you try the newly discovered facial soap? This will be great for those who carry their burden of pimples'. .. Cut! This is just a commercial.

Advertising one's product is quite difficult. Your main goal is to attract the attention of your audience. To convince them to patronize your products is important. Lastly is to let them know the convenience and the benefit that it can bring them.

It also costs the producers a lot when it deals to advertising. It is sickening especially if the commercial is also disapprove or does not serve its purpose at all. Don't you think it is frustrating?

Thanks to the innovation of technology called the computer and the internet. It is good news for everybody who is planning to sell products as a form of online business without spending much money in advertising. Well, is there such thing like that?

Of course there is. Article marketing is sought-after among all other marketing strategies. Obviously, there is main reason for such, first is because you can advertise free. The task is so easy, you simply write hot things and description about your products and then you can now post it to your desired website.

Unlike the commercial that you watch in televisions, it has its frequency. It only means that there is limited rate of occurrence depending on the contract that you signed. On the other hand, with article advertising any subscriber can have an access to your site 24 hours a day.

Advertising and selling of your product can also be easy for you. Once the subscribers are interested about your product, they can contact you; there the business began. A single article can be republished to all other websites.

Therefore, as an advertiser of your own product, you have to make sure that the article is interesting. You bear in mind that the more reader you get the greater the possibility for your product to be purchased.

In addition, you should also conform to the restrictions and the standards set forth by the websites. The articles that you are to make should only tackle information concerning your products.

In other words, to drive the readers and the subscribers towards you, it is a requisite that you should understand what you are talking about in your article. You should not lead them into confusion of course.

Be able to have a concrete description of the product that you are selling including the features. Do not give them half-cooked information; bare everything about your product. Dare to make a difference!

One technique that you can use is to make them read interesting tidbits about yourself first. You can also share those couple of advices and friendly tips. For sure, if they will start to like you, soon they will get fascinated about your product as well.

What is your role in the business?

Primarily is to gain their trust. It is very necessary that you must appear as a credible source for them. All the information that you will be sharing about your products must be true.

As much as possible avoid too much exaggerations. You can promote a better relationship between your customer and your readers by providing them with great but factual information. It will certainly catch the reader's eyes.

Have you ever tried your product?

It is good if yes. You can already include in your article the benefits that the products brought you. It is helpful also if you will share your experience with the product to your readers.

However, you need to please them about it, but telling them the pros and cons of the use of your product is honest. Make them inform if it is not good for allergic people, for instance if it is a soap.

Article advertising is one great way towards your success. If you only utilize your resources and creativity properly, it will bring you to its peak.

You cannot judge your article marketing results however simply by the sales or the compliments that you receive. Rather, you will know if it gained popularity if your site is in demand to both the subscribers and the readers.

With the many ways there are to advertise products and services on the internet I have found a marketing course that will turn what you know about internet advertising upside-down.

Bum Marketing will show you how to run a successful advertising campaign without owning or maintaining a website or having a product of your own to endorse.

This course will show you where to go and how to sign up for affiliate programs. Once you have signed on to advertise the products on these websites, Bum Marketing will coach you on a way to write articles with ease.

You may not believe that you cant write articles with ease but Bum Marketing will show you what words to use in these articles and the perfect title you will give them so that you too will write articles with ease.

When you have signed up with these sites and written these articles Bum Marketing will show you how and where to submit your articles so that they will be placed on googles first page 90% of the time.

A placement on googles first page will assure that your article will be among the first seen when a consumer searches for the particular product or service you are endorsing. With this in mind you, can see how the odds are in your favor that the consumer will click the link back to the website you have placed in your article. There is a good chance that they will make a purchase and you will earn a commission. In many cases this commission can be as much as 75% of the purchase price.

If only one of the sites you advertise makes three sales for $125 each, your commission for that particular day would be $280.25. If you think about it, where else can you make that type of money in one day doing nothing more than submitting the articles you have learned to write with ease to a free site and waiting for the money to roll in.

I hope this article has helped you to see that Bum Marketing will help you out of the dark hole of a 9-5 job where you make pennies spending all of your time working your fingers to the bone.

Even though you may think you cant do this wouldnt it be worth it to learn to write articles with ease to bring more money and less stress to your life.

There are a lot of ways and means that you can amplify your article marketing in order to achieve better results. However, the three elements stated below are exceptionally recommended because of the proven record of success rate that they have brought to many online businesses.

1. Outline your article material to produce a well-structured content. The success of the marketing plan largely depends on the quality of your articles. Therefore, it is essential that you give extra time and effort to make the whole article material worthy of everybody's attention. Make sure that it goes beyond what is acceptable. It has to bear excellence in all aspects: style of writing, grammar, punctuation, quality of information, relevance of the subject matter, and coherence of ideas.

2. Plan your marketing strategies on how you can make these articles be attention-getter. You need to make sure that these highly qualified article materials get the attention of the majority of readers. You can engage into promoting these in some online gatherings and discussions to allow for people to talk about them.

3. Evaluate your articles based on another set of standards - the standards of publishing sites. Make sure that you are able to surpass the common standards set forth by these publishing sites if you want to make sure that your works will be published and promoted.

4. Polish your articles from time to time to make sure that they do not convey the same sets of ideas. People are looking for an exceptional set of information. Thus, you need to make sure that you present fresh, new ideas on every article that you write and post to publishing sites.

It is great having a mailing list and newsletter but how can you get more people to sign up to your list? Here are several of the best ways to increase your mailing list sign-ups.

1. Set Up A Special Web Page

Set up a special web page dedicated to your newsletter or mailing list. Include a subscribe box near the top where everyone will see it. Now include a link to the subscribe page from every other page on your web site.

2. Keep It Simple

Dont ask for too much information on your newsletter sign-up form. Streamline the subscription process for your visitors. All you really need at this stage is the visitors name and email. If you ask for too much information you will lose some of the potential subscribers.

3. Give Away A Free Ebook

This is one of the best techniques to encourage people to give you their email address. Offer them a free ebook with information they want, in return for signing up.

4. Write Articles

Write some articles on your mailing list topic and post them at free article directories such as EzineArticles and ArticleCity. That way webmasters and editors can publish your articles without payment and you will receive traffic to your sign up form when readers click through the link in your authors resource box.

5. Advertising Swaps

An excellent way to increase traffic to your mailing list sign-up page is to swap ads with other newsletters on related topics. Provided you already have a list of reasonable size then owners of other newsletters should be interested in swapping ads with you. This is a great way of driving highly targeted traffic to your subscription form.

That is a few ways to quickly increase sign-ups to your mailing list.

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

In your article the resource box is where you get to invite the reader back to you web site or blog for more information. Blow this and you have wasted your time. Get this right and you have got it made!

Common & funny mistakes

I have seen resource boxes that were as long or even longer than the article! Imagine that. Somebody figured that telling you all about them and all their many accomplishments was more interesting than the article.

Now that sounds silly and ridiculous for anybody to do, but they do it! Most folks start their resource box with, "Sally Sue graduated from 27 difficult universities, has written 100 great books, and her whole family thinks she's great."

Who cares? Remember, the resource box is not about you. It's about the reader.

What you do when you start off your resource box that way is you communicate to the reader - "Attention Reader: The article is now over. You can go away now."

So they don't read your resource box, don't click on your links, and you don't get a visitor, you don't get a prospect, you don't get a subscriber, you don't get a customer or client.

Now one of the funniest mistakes I've ever seen, and I actually read someone advocating this mistake. They were having a discussion one day about where and how and when to put your name in the resource box. One person, who really does know better I think, was advocating not only putting your name first, but putting your name in bold letters because - and this is a quote - they had seen articles where they could not tell where the article ended and the resource box began.

Well, duh! This, ladies and gentlemen, is the whole point. I hope that the articles that this person was referring to were either articles by my students or my articles, because that's what I teach. The whole point is for them to flow right from the article into the resource box.

Three Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills. With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is

Getting traffic to your website or blog is the only way to make it pay, but not everyone who launches a website or blog has the money to spend on promotion. Good news. There's a promotional method that really works for attracting site or blog traffic and it's free, free, free. It's called article marketing and it is a sure way of raising a site's profile.

Step 1: Find An Article Directory

To get started, find a suitable article directory. Article directories are sites that have hundreds and thousands of articles and there are new ones emerging every day. Some are all-purpose, covering everything from family issues to healthcare, while others have a niche, such as computer advice or art. All of them are hungry for content.

With so many to pick from, choosing an article directory can be a minefield. To make it easier, look at the directory to see:

  • how many authors there are - if only a handful, forget it and move on.
  • how many articles there are - ditto; come back when they've got some content
  • can the site be found on Google, Yahoo or MSN - if you can't find many links to the site, then no-one will find your articles either.
One of the best and most effective article directories I have used is EzineArticles.com. EzineArticles is easy to use and articles published on the site appear in the search engines very quickly.

Step 2: Start Writing

Once you've decided on the right article directory or directories, write an article. Bloggers will find that blog posts are a good starting point for a web article. If you're not a writer, there are plenty of writers who will whip up an article for a few dollars. Some will even help you get it published. The article you write or commission can be about almost anything related to the site, blog or business you are promoting. The ideal article should be short (say 300-600 words) and error-free, so remember to proofread and spell check.

Many article directories vet articles before publishing. Stick to the guidelines that are published on every site and approval should be a formality. Most article directories prohibit self-promotion in the body of the article. Direct promotion of a site, blog or business is reserved for the resource box.

Step 3: Work That Resource Box

The resource box is where article writers can put all the self-promotional information. Readers who have found the article useful are likely to click on the links to see what else a site, blog or business has to offer. Article directories typically allow up to three links in the resource box. A good resource box has the name of the writer or the person being promoted, the name of the business and the keywords that the site or business owner would like to promote. See the resource box at the end of this article for an example. Other resource boxes may link to a sales letter page (with the product name highlighted) and include a short elevator pitch and call to action.

Step 4: Submit Like Crazy

Once the article has been submitted to the directories the site owner has chosen, it's time to move the strategy to the next level. Article submission services extend the potential reach of an article, giving another opportunity to boost traffic. Like many article directories, article submission services allow people to upload articles for approval. Once the articles are approved, these services send them out to article directories, article groups, ezine publishers and website owners to be considered for publication. Two options for article submission are Article Marketer, which has free and paid options and Isnare, which is a paid service. There are also free and commercial programs to automate article submission.

Pros And Cons Of Article Marketing

The big question, of course, is whether submitting articles to hundreds of directories counts as duplicate content. It's hard to tell. Some of them end up in the sandbox after a while; others don't. Staggering submissions is a good way to avoid this. However, in my opinion, the advantages outweigh the potential disadvantages. With article marketing, sites can receive hundreds of inbound links in only a few days or weeks and thousands of people will be visiting the site that's being promoted. That can't be bad, can it?

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills. With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. One of the biggest challenges new online marketers face is how to get a healthy amount of traffic for their Websites. There are lots of different ways to pull visitors to your site, but it's not always easy to know if an advertising opportunity is worth the money until after you shell out and track your results.

The truth is most paid advertising services on the Web are nothing but gimmicks. That sounds harsh but it's based on lots of real-life experience.

Internet users are bombarded with flashing advertisements every day and I believe the majority of seasoned surfers have become de-sensitized to even the best banner ads and headlines. If you're not careful you could easily throw away hundreds, even thousands of dollars on ads that don't bring you squat.

So the question is... where can an online marketer post his/her ads so that plenty of targeted prospects will see it in the first place and then bother with actually clicking through to the sales page or opt-in form? One of the best places I have found to advertise is on the thank you pages of other Websites in my field.

Consider this...

If you are selling weight loss tips, wouldn't it make loads of sense to get your ads on the thank you page people see right after they sign-up for a diet ezine or purchase a fitness audio? Not only are these people in your target market, they are action takers.

The absolute best kind of prospect to promote to is one who has already said yes to an offer like the one you are presenting. My testing with thank you page ads has produced some amazing conversions and I believe it's because I had the opportunity to place my offer in front of people who were still hot from the purchase they just made!

This type of advertisement is not likely to be cheap, but it is far less risky than many other options. Also there is more legwork involved with thank you page advertising because it is not generally offered to the public; so you have to actively seek other businesses who will sell or rent you this valuable space.

I recommend you keep your eyes open as you register for free offers, sign-up for newsletters, and make purchases within your market. When you find a thank you or confirmation page that is not being used by the merchant to pose a follow-up offer drop them an email and ask if they would like to make some extra cash by letting you place a related ad in that space for the next month.

If they take you up on your request you'll be able to plug your ad into a high traffic area that is seen only by pre-qualified prospects and let's be honest - why waste time with any other kind of prospect if you can avoid it! This has proven to be an extremely rewarding method of promotion for me and I hope you'll give it a shot as well.
