Keyword bidding is closely related to pay-per-click advertising. The major ppc advertisers out there are Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and Microsoft AdCenter. Here are some interesting facts about keyword bidding.

Keyword Bidding Fact # 1

One of the undeniable facts when it comes to the most popular ppc engine would be the undefeated Google Adwords. Advertise in Google Adwords properly, and you will see your online business skyrocket. This is simply because the majority of search engine users use google and the traffic that it pulls in are targeted.

Keyword Bidding Fact # 2

If you plan to use google Adwords you must know the three types of matches in your keywords. Knowing the differences in the match type will help you manage your keyword bidding more efficiently. The three match types are the [exact matches], phrase matches and broad matches. For example, if you bid for an exact match keyword [keyword bidding] your advertisement will only be shown when someone types in the search "keyword bidding" and not "bids methods for keywords". If you bid for an phrase match "keyword bidding" and matches "keyword bidding tools", but not "tools for keyword", and, finally, a broad match for keyword bidding will match the search of any keywords in any order.

Keyword Bidding Fact # 3

To achieve success with keyword bidding, you will need to know about click through rate which is also known as CTR. Google tracks the number of click through compared to the number of impression for your ad. Basically, if your ad or keyword has a high click through rate, you will be rewarded with a higher ad position and also reduces the cost of your clicks. It is crucial for you to consistently improve your click through rate if you are thinking of starting your own keyword bidding campaign.

Keyword Bidding Fact # 4

One of the ways to improve your CTR is to write a good ad for your keyword bidding campaign. One of the key notes of writing a good ad is that your ad must be able to attract the attention of searchers. Grab their attention with a good headline and tell them the benefits they will get if they click your ad. There is also other Adwords tactic.

Sometimes I get asked, you write so many articles that are very similar in nature, why would a publisher pick one of your articles over another one of your articles, or why would you get more traffic since you are writing multiple articles on the same topic.

Actually I'm not writing these articles so anybody can go to EzineArticles and pick them. I'm writing them so that the Google search engine will pick up the article.

For example, if you type in lots of different keywords in the article writing niches, in product creation, in website traffic generation, if you type those in you'll see that my articles in EzineArticles tend to come up relatively high in the Google search engine. That's what I'm targeting.

Most of EzineArticles traffic - my understanding is that it comes from the Google search engine and not from people who are just searching around EzineArticles itself, so I'm attempting to go for that one unique page that is going to pique someone's interest.

The second thing is we've done multiple tests on this, and of course the more articles that we write then there's a marginal decrease in the number of visitors we get per article, but it still increases the total volume of visitors.

We've kind of found that this number between 600-800 articles submitted per month is kind of an optimal number. It gives us a good number of visitors per article and this doesn't go over the board. We've actually gone as high as 2,000 in one month and found that at that level we didn't increase our visitors much past the level that we're at with about 800.

Making Money with Your Blog!

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

I want to be honest with you; my goal is to build a massive responsive opt-in email list. So why am I writing all of these articles on article marketing? Because I know that if I master this, it will be the foundation I will be able to build my entire online marketing career.

How is that possible? Let's think about this for a minute. Isn't it words that determine and measure the course of everything that happens on the Internet? It all started with a bunch or research done by college professors and students at the major universities around the United States.

This research was stored on hard drives connected together by an information dissemination system created by the United States Military to enable them to maintain a wide area network in case of nuclear attack.

Doesn't that sound like something out of an old science fiction novel? What's funny to me is that the reality of today has exceeded all of our wildest fantasies of our yesteryears.

Today we have algorithms that are so complex they are able to determine and predict patterns not only in language, but in languages so specific they create thousands of different groupings which help us all find the information we are looking for out of billions of web pages all over the world.

I guess it is more accurate to say that Google helps us find it about 64% of the time, and on the high end, Yahoo helps us find it just above 70% of the time.

The amazing thing for those that have eyes to see, the opportunity is in the gap. A gap that will be narrowed someday I am sure but will probably never be closed. What do I mean? In that window of 25% to 35% of the time when the information people are looking for is not to be found, is the gap that is waiting for some enterprising individual to fill. And all they have to do is write something. Is that someone going to be you?

The most interesting thing to me is that there are clues and maps leading whoever is looking right to those unfilled gaps. Those clues and maps are found in the key words of those searches that go unsatisfied. For example, if the key words *Travel to Forest Lake Minnesota* was searched for 300 times a month, and the major search engines show zero results for that key word phrase, then this is an opportunity for someone to create content for.

By doing that, they now have an audience of people that they know are interested in travel to that location. The question they should ask themselves is what does this group of people want or need, and then find a product, service, or affiliate program that fills that need, and they can start to market to that group. An example might be, a hotel and campground guide for that area.

So let this be the call to action for those that have ears to hear. Write; write your way into the opportunity created by the information age and an insatiable appetite for more information -- more specific information, more personalized information, an appetite which only grows each time it is momentarily satisfied. Because the more answers we get, the more questions we have.

Clients are always asking me about SEO. They want to know what it is, how it works, and what they need to do. What I tell them is that SEO comprises of three main components: content, code, and inbound links.

Content is still King not so much because great content creates sticky sites, but because great content does more to help your search engine rankings than many of the other tactics that SEOs use. Knowledgeable SEOs must first and foremost be great writers who can encorporate the right ratio of keywords within your content.

The way your site is coded can have dramatic results when it comes to your organic positioning. Make sure your designer knows what this means. If your web design and development company knows what they are doing, they will know how code effects your SER (search engine ranking). Your site should also be optimized, but that can sometimes have less of an effect on your SER than the structure of the code itself.

Inbound links are perhaps the most time-consuming and troublesome of the three keys to great organic SER. Don't clutter your site with unrelated links that you trade with just anyone. Trading links does not have nearly the effect that inbound links do. Save your energy by increasing links.

If you spend your time and energy on these three core tactics, you'll definitely increase your ranking. And the beauty of it is that these techniques only improve the stickiness of your site, the performance, and your reputation as an expert in your industry.

It's true, I am a ghost. People who know the benefits of publishing online articles to promote their businesses and attract traffic to their websites, but lack the time or writing skills to write their own articles, hire me to write for them.

There are many reasons marketers my wish to hire a ghostwriter. Sometimes they just need to have twenty or so, well-written articles published online within a very short period of time.

Each article contains what is called a "resource box" at the bottom that tells a little about my client's business and why someone would want to contact him, her or that company. But most importantly, that resource box also contains a link to the client's website.

Then as other webmasters and newsletter publishers read the article, find it interesting and republish it to their own sites; the resource box starts creating many inbound links that all point to my client's website.

Another reason a client might hire a ghost writer is because that writer has an expertise in the client's field. For example, I am a former attorney who was also a financial planner in a previous life (I succeeded as a lawyer but was a dismal salesman as a financial planner. But at least I have knowledge of both fields). When someone needs to have articles written within certain fields, it is often a good idea to seek out someone with relevant experience.

But a ghostwriter can also be helpful in other fields. For example, I have done work for clients in banking, real estate, health and nutrition, and retail marketing. Good ghost writers know how to quickly get up to speed on a subject by researching the topic on the internet (love those Google news alerts) or by interviewing the client.

If you hire a ghostwriter, be prepared to share your knowledge. Spend time telling your writer what your article ideas are, what types of customers you want to attract, what those potential customers want and what information they are looking for, and let your ghostwriter pick your brain for a while.

You may not have the writing skills or the time, but if you will share your knowledge with the writer you hire, the benefits to you will be several well-written articles with your byline on them.

How much should you expect to pay for a ghostwriter? My fees range from $50 to $150 per article, and more if I have to spend a lot of time researching the topic. You can certainly find cheaper writers, but it is a good idea to find a native speaker of the language you wish to have your articles written in.

Many marketers have thought they were getting a great deal when they hired someone to write their articles for $25 each, but then got back articles that did not flow and had the disjointed syntax of someone who had learned English as a second language. So you may find that you get what you pay for.

Working with a ghostwriter to have online articles you can publish under your byline can be a very profitable way to build traffic to your site and increase your name recognition in your field. But be sure to invest both your time and your money wisely if you want to see great results.
