This is a question that I get asked many times by people. How many articles do I need to write to be successful with article marketing. Now let us look at some key considerations that are important to be successful with this method of marketing.

When you are first starting out it is going to be difficult to write one article a week. For most people writing does not come easily. So it is very important that you focus on doing one article a week. Once you become good at this you can increase this number to two a week.

Over time you will become very good at writing at you will be able to write five articles a day. Then you can gradually increase this and you will be writing ten articles a day.

So back to the original question. How many articles should you have written to start seeing measurable results. You need at least two hundred and fifty articles to start seeing good results and determine if you are progressing with your article marketing. If you were thinking of only writing a few articles sorry to disappoint you.

So what is the magic number of how many articles that I need to write? You need to write as many as possible. You see the more articles you have in distribution with the article directories the higher the number of readers of your articles. This equals more subscribers and more paid customers. Knowing this information once you become good at writing you may want to write at least ten articles a day.

Hopefully this information will motivate you to write more articles so that you can increase your business.

In the business of Article Marketing every article that you write means money. It would only make sense that the more articles you can create the more money you can make. The key to succeeding in Article Marketing is writing. You must write today, tomorrow and continue to write every day after that.

When you begin your article writing career it can seem a bit daunting, especially if you are someone who is not used to sitting at your computer for hours per day. I had been a jock in high school and never took any real creative writing or journalism related courses so the thought of having to write articles every day seems overwhelming. Once I decided that I was going to write every day I got used to it and it got easier. I am sure it will be the same for you.

To be one hundred percent honest, there is no such thing as too much when it comes to writing articles. The key to Article Marketing is writing. The more articles you write and get out there then the more traffic will be directed to your website. Of course more traffic is directly related to more profit.

How many articles are you writing per day now? If you want to driver traffic to your website and grow your business you need to write more. How many articles you are writing per day really does not matter. My point is, no matter how many you write, when you think you are done for the day, you should write more.

How much is too much? This isnt a question that you should be asking. The question that you should be asking is, How much money do I want to make? Articles equal traffic and we all know that traffic equal profit. If you are not generating the cash flow that you want or need then you are not spending enough time writing articles.

There are many ways to market your Internet business. One of the least expensive yet most effective methods is by writing articles. I use it as a primary marketing technique and it provides me with a number of benefits.

1) It consistently brings traffic to my site. And, unlike an advertisement that runs one time and then stops, articles continue to work for me as long as they remain available. I still get traffic from articles that I wrote six to eight months ago. In addition, many of my articles are published in ezines and on websites with related content that bring me traffic. And, as an added benefit, I get all this advertising for free. It doesn't cost me a penny!

2) Writing articles provides valuable backlinks and can significantly improve your site's Page Rank. The number of backlinks is one of the criteria that search engines use to determine the relative importance of your site. Each time I post an article, it provides a backlink to my website. Search engines see the large number of backlinks at these article directories, ezines, and other sites that have published my work. As a result, my Page Rank numbers increase. This increased Page Rank number means that my site will get a better placement when people do searches. This, in turn, means that I will receive even more traffic. And, of course, an increase in traffic means an increase in profits.

3) Writing articles can provide you with an ongoing source of income. With each article that I submit, I place relevant information in the author's resource box. My resource box contains links to products that I am recommending as well as links back to my website. Some of the people who read my articles will click on these links and purchase those products. It is like running a small advertisement in each article I post. And, as I mentioned previously, articles continue to work for a very long time.

So, if you are not already, consider using articles to market your Internet business. They can supply you with an ongoing stream of traffic. They provide you with valuable backlinks that can increase the Page Rank of your website. And they can be a nice consistent source of income.

Article writing: Step four- Your conclusion must summarize the benefits in the body of your article into one short paragraph. Your conclusion must be good enough to make the reader want to find out more information your website by clicking on the link in your resource box. The resource box is simply the section that let the reader know your brief background and skills and your website URL.

Marketing an internet business by writing an article will not be complete without an effective article promotion strategy. Your unique article now needs to be submitted to article distribution directories. The key is to get your article into thousands of websites that needs content. The websites that use your article also agree to display your resource box with your website URL. Now when the search engines see your website URL on so many other websites based on a certain keyword your internet business will start getting a share of visitors seeking information about that specific keyword. The top article distribution directories from my experience are Articlesdynamic.com, Ezinearticles.com, Articlesinsync.com, and Articledashboard.com. After submitting to these four directories, you can also submit to other lesser known directories. In about a week or two types in the title of your article in Google or yahoo and see how many websites are displaying your article to the World Wide Web.

Article writing and article promotion can be an effective strategy to use in marketing an internet business. Be concise and give the reader what information they seek and a large percentage will visit your website giving you the opportunity to sell them your products or you can make money when they click on the Google ads displayed on your site. The key is to get visitors to your site and what happens after that is full of limitless possibilities.
